The AAHI Steering Committee is made up of a group of stakeholders from the local community who use their expertise to advise, advocate, and assist AAHI in its efforts to engage with and promote health and wellness among Asian American residents of Montgomery County.

The professionally and ethnically diverse Steering Committee members include community leaders, public health professionals, representatives of Asian American organizations, and residents of Montgomery County. The Steering Committee supports AAHI by volunteering hundreds of hours to strengthen AAHI’s programmatic efforts, advocating for AAHI’s constituency in meetings with key leaders and policymakers in Montgomery County, and serving as liaisons to external community workgroups serving the local government’s health, leadership, and Asian American outreach initiatives.

For more information about the Steering Committee or to join, please review the project description or application form. Please email a completed application package to info@AAHIinfo.org or fax it to 240-777-4564.
